Everyday Discounts and Offers

There's a lot more to Zipcar than you think. Our membership plans will help you save on each trip with significant savings vs our free plan, plus you get your membership fee back in credit. Win win.

The Smart plan cost £6 per month and gives you up to 20% off daily and hourly car hire rates compared to Basic. In addition to that you get your membership back in credit each.

The Plus membership plan is £15 a month and gives you the best rates for vehicles, saving up to 30% compared to Basic. Just like Smart, you also receive your membership fee back in credit each month.

Some of our Flex cars have discounted rates. Simply, search for Flex (blue pins) on the app, and find a car with an orange tag that has a generous discount (15% off). The final rate will be applied at the end of your reservation.

Our Flex, one-way option is charged by the minute (from 32p/min) but we also have an hourly cap! It comes into effect at 45 minutes. So, if your trip is 45 mins or more, we'll make sure you pay the lower price of from £14/hour. Don't forget, rates vary depending on your rate plan, with the cheapest rates on the Plus plan.

Our Flex cars are perfect for shorter trips, but you can take them for up to 48 hours if you want to! To make this as cheap as possilbe for you, we have a daily cap. It takes effect from 6 hours, making a Flex trip from £75 a day depending on the rate plan you’re on. Please note this doesn't include our electric Flex vehicles.

Save a third – 33% - compared to standard business prices when you make a Roundtrip car or van booking between 6am and 10pm, that is at least 9 hours long (max 12 hours res length). Valid on all Business Roundtrip car reservations. Valid on Business Roundtrip van reservations from Monday to Friday only. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay for your trip, and varies depending on the vehicle class you drive, the membership plan you’re on and and if your trip is on a weekday or weekend. Two day reservations discounts come into effect on reservations between 34 hours–57 hours, three day between 58 and 81 hours, four days between 82 hours–105 hours, five days between 106 and 129 hours. Six day reservations between 130 - 153 hours and seven days between 154 hours and 168 hours both on car reservations only. Valid until 31 December 2025. Zipcar reserves the right to update or amend offers at any time. Any trip extending beyond the timeframe referenced will not qualify for any discount and the entire reservation will be billed at regular rates.

Consumer:
