You can rent electric vehicles in both Flex and Roundtrip

At Zipcar, we offer two ways of getting around: Roundtrip and Flex. Roundtrip is our traditional service for pre-planned trips, whilst Flex is our one-way service:

  • Pick up and return Roundtrip cars and vans to their same dedicated bay. During your reservation, you are able to park in other areas, but if you're stopping over in a space that requires a fee, you're responsible for paying it.
  • Flex is our one-way service, where you can pick up and drop cars anywhere in the Zipzone so long as it complies with our parking rules where you are ending your trip.

Charging an electric car is just as easy as filling up a traditional car with fuel. Also, renting a Zipcar Electric Vehicle is more eco-friendly and cost-efficient than using a traditional petrol car.

Plus with our New Charging Incentive, if you hire one of our Electric Cars for over 6 hours and end your trip with over 60% charge, we’ll reimburse the cost you paid to charge it, plus refund £20 off the cost of that trip.
