Voting is the best way to have your voice heard whether you care about transportation, housing, education, healthcare, the military, climate change, and so much more that influences daily life.   

Twenty-five years ago, Zipcar was founded with a clear mission: to enable simple and responsible urban living.  

To fulfill our mission, we work with our partners and members to make sure Zipcar cities prioritize sustainable transportation, equitable access for all, and more open space for people, not cars. By voting, you can make sure these values come to life.  

Your vote helps determine:  

• funding for public transportation 

• policy changes for safe city streets and affordable housing 

• resources for infrastructure and conservation efforts  

• government officials that represent our communities and you 

We know our urban-dwelling Zipcar members walk and use public transit more than average residents and we encourage them to do so to get to the polls near where they work and live. If you need convenient access to car to vote or to work at the polls, Zipcar is waiving the first month membership fee for new members (MONTHOFF). 

Check your polling location at Vote.org and make a plan to walk, bike, take the subway or drive if you need to go the distance to make your voice heard. Voting in person or by mail is one of the most important things you can do this November.
